  • Will provide expertise, advice and solutions to customers and staff regarding all facets of investments, as well as to solicit client referrals through various channels.
  • Provides financial planning, investment advice and insurance program advice to prospects and customers to validate current investment objectives and prepare recommendations.
  • Engages in business development (to include prospecting, development of external and internal referral sources, use of personal and professional contacts) to deliver results.
  • He/she is also responsible for an individual portfolio



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or related field preferred (Will consider combination of education and experience; new grads OK)
  • Previous financial advisor experience preferred
  • Strong proactive sales experience in the financial services industry, preferred
  • Professional designation/certifications, preferred
  • Must be able to obtain the following licenses within 1 year of employment: Series 7, 63, and 65  
  • Must also possess or obtain life/health insurance license
  • Strong qualitative and analytical ability
  • Strong customer service,communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills

Loan Processor - Real Estate

(Full Time with benefits)


  • Provides a high level of customer service (per EDSB Customer Service expectations) to both external and internal customers on a constant and consistent basis.
  • Compile and Complete pre closing requirements including but not limited to processing early disclosures, verifying employment, income, deposit accounts, order and review appraisals, floods, title work, and review investor requirements as necessary.
  • Prepare all documentation required for all types of Consumer Real Estate Loans including but not limited to new requests (fixed rate, ARM’s, HELOC’s, etc.), extensions, modifications and renewals.
  • Process new loans by reviewing signed documents for completeness; disbursing funds; keying loan to core system; perfecting collateral documents; reviewing and entering FHLB and HMDA results; preparing and sending investor package when necessary.
  • Scan and index loan to Optical System. Cross reference any existing documents if necessary.
  • Maintain outstanding documentation and/or exceptions within the core system or spreadsheet. Follow up on recorded mortgages and title work issues. Review received/completed outstanding documentation for possible issues or errors. Forward final documents to investors as necessary.
  • Process proper application of loan payments and advances
  • Process closed loans and prepare release of collateral when appropriate
  • Maintain knowledge of all relevant rules and regulations related to position and follow practices related to fair lending.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years of banking experience with a minimum 3 years in Consumer Real Estate loan processing preferred with some back ground in Commercial Processing a plus.
  • Excellent typing skills with general computer knowledge required
  • Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
